Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how FlowOs LLC ("we", "us", "Company") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the SMS Gateway source code product ("Product") sold at sms.flowos.tech. This policy applies to buyers of the Product and visitors to our website.
Important distinction: This policy covers information we collect from you. Once you deploy the Product on your own infrastructure, message data flowing through your deployment is under your control, not ours. See Section 5.
2. Information We Collect
When you purchase the Product, we collect through our payment processor (Stripe):
- Your name and email address
- Billing address (for tax purposes)
- Payment card details (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)
- License key issued to you
When you visit our website, we collect:
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager)
- Marketing attribution data via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel
- Session behavior data (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, page navigation) via Microsoft Clarity, which may include session recordings and heatmaps
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enable analytics, marketing attribution, and session behavior analysis. These include:
- First-party cookies — set by our website to remember your preferences
- Google Analytics 4 cookies — used to measure website traffic and behavior. See Google's privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel cookies — used to measure ad performance and enable retargeting on Meta platforms. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity cookies — used for session recording and behavior analysis. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdiction requiring cookie consent, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner on your first visit. You may accept, reject, or manage your preferences. Rejecting non-essential cookies will disable analytics, marketing attribution, and session recording.
You can also opt out at the browser level:
- Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Meta Pixel — adjust your ad preferences at Meta's ad settings
- Microsoft Clarity — install the Microsoft Clarity opt-out extension or use browser Do Not Track settings
When you contact support, we collect:
- Your email address and the contents of your support messages
- Any deployment details you share while seeking help
Support communications are handled through GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) via our sending domain mail.flowos.tech.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Deliver the Product and provide license access
- Respond to support requests
- Send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, license delivery, product updates)
- Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, fraud prevention)
- Improve our product and website
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal information are:
- Contract performance — to deliver the Product you purchased
- Legitimate interest — to improve our product and prevent fraud
- Legal obligation — for tax and compliance requirements
- Consent — for optional marketing communications (which you may withdraw at any time)
5. Data on Your Deployment — Not Our Responsibility
The SMS Gateway is deployed on infrastructure you control. When you configure and run the Product:
- Message content, phone numbers, timestamps, and provider metadata are logged to your database on your infrastructure
- We have no access to this data
- We are not the data controller or processor for message data flowing through your deployment
You are the data controller for all messaging data your deployment handles. Your obligations toward message senders and recipients under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws are entirely your responsibility. See Section 5 of our Terms of Service for related messaging compliance obligations.
6. Data Retention
- Purchase records — retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Support communications — retained for 2 years after last contact
- Web server logs — retained for 90 days
- Analytics data — retained per your chosen analytics provider's policy
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of information we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion — request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your information
